Case Study: CogMission

Helping to launch a ground-breaking brain health programme

The Challenge

CogMission is on a mission to change the way we think about brain health. With research showing that up to 80% of dementia cases may be preventable, the opportunity to make a difference through early intervention is clear.

Following early success with their in-person offering, CogMission approached Practest to help them scale their Brain Vitality Programme online. The ambition was to reach wider audiences, improve accessibility, and establish a cohesive, professional presence. But they needed to bring together their digital footprint and messaging together.

What our clients say

Charmaine Shepherd

Clinic Director and Functional Medicine Practitioner, CogMission

Practest have been an absolute pleasure to work with. They took the time to really understand who we are, what we stand for, and why our work in brain health matters. Their support helped us bring clarity to our message, confidence to our digital presence, and a sense of cohesion across everything we do online. Thanks to their thoughtful, collaborative approach, we now feel well placed to reach more people and grow the impact of the Brain Vitality Programme.

The Solution

Working closely with the CogMission team, we supported the launch of their enhanced Brain Vitality Programme, helping them build a stronger digital presence and connect with the people who need them most.

  • Refined their audience and messaging, identifying two key segments — women in midlife (particularly those navigating menopause) and adults concerned about cognitive decline — and creating supportive, empowering language to engage both.
  • Delivered an integrated marketing and communications strategy, including social media, email, and PR activity to raise awareness, build trust, and drive engagement with the programme.
  • Developed a cohesive digital presence, consolidating fragmented systems with a unified and search optimised (SEO) website, Paid for search (PPC) branded content templates, and consistent visual identity across all channels.

The Impact

Since the launch of the first online programme in May 2025, CogMission has seen steady momentum, with signups increasing for each new round of the six-week course. Their strong digital presence, brought together under one cohesive brand, has helped establish credibility and expand reach across social media, email and their website.

With clear messaging and consistent digital presence now in place, CogMission is well positioned to scale its impact and lead the conversation around dementia prevention and brain health.

Next Steps

We’re continuing to work with the CogMission team to build out a dedicated event registration platform, making it even easier for participants to register, manage bookings, and access the Brain Vitality Programme. It’s the next step in our ongoing journey to create a smoother, more scalable experience for both users and the CogMission team.
